A LITTLE ABOUT ME
I live, work, teach and write in New England. I'm passionate about equitable access to quality english arts and creative writing instruction for people from all places and spaces.
I hold an MFA in Poetry from Boise State University, and an MA in English Literature from The University of Maine. I earned my BA from Colby College.
From 2016 to 2018, I served as Program and Education Manager at The Cabin, A Center for Readers and Writers in Boise, Idaho, where I lived for nearly a decade.
Since 2018 I’ve taught writing at the college level.
I grew up in the western Maine foothills and when I didn’t have my nose in a book or wasn't concocting some story in my journal, you could find me chasing my friends, family, and many animals and creatures in the surrounding woods.
I was raised in Dixfield, Maine but other places I’ve called home include Waterville, Portland, Camden, Boston, North Carolina, Cape Town, Idaho and other points beyond and between.
My loves include poetry, film, pop culture, and my people.
But most of all—I love to write and hope you could, too.
